Personal Data Protection Notice
This page summarises, for readers who do not read Turkish, how Remta İnşaat handles personal data collected through this website. It is a summary only: the Turkish version of this notice is the binding text and prevails in the event of any difference between the two.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Remta İnşaat [full registered company name], İçerenköy Mah. Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan Cad. Rem İş Merkezi No: 36/1, Ataşehir, İstanbul, Türkiye. Telephone (0216) 469 74 20, e-mail info@remtainsaat.com. Data protection registry entry: [VERBİS registration number]. Registered electronic mail: [KEP address]. Trade registry: [Mersis number].
What is collected
When you send an enquiry through the quote form, we receive your name, company name, telephone number, e-mail address, the location of the project, its size, whatever you write in the free-text message, and any files you attach, including the contents of those files. The form is not intended for sensitive personal data or for information about other people, so please leave out anything the enquiry does not require.
The site does not use cookies for marketing, profiling or third-party analytics. Visits are counted using an irreversible hash generated with a secret value that is rotated regularly, and only that hash is kept in the statistics record, so a visit cannot be traced back to you. Technical data recorded in server access logs, and how long it is kept, are governed by [hosting provider's access log policy and retention period].
Why it is processed
To assess your enquiry, get back to you, ask for anything missing, carry out feasibility and quotation work, and manage the correspondence that leads up to a contract. Records are also kept to meet legal obligations, to be able to evidence what was asked and answered if a dispute arises, and to keep the site secure and measure traffic volume without identifying anyone.
Legal grounds
Enquiry data is processed because it is directly related to the pre-contractual discussion you started. Retention rests on our legal obligations and on our legitimate interest in being able to evidence the exchange. Anonymised visit statistics rest on our legitimate interest in operating the site securely. Anything outside these grounds would require your explicit consent, which we would ask for first.
Sharing
Personal data is never sold or used for third-party marketing. It may be shared with the providers hosting the site and our e-mail service [provider name and country of the servers], strictly as the service requires; with engineering, architectural, financial or legal advisers where assessing your enquiry requires it [recipients to be confirmed], limited to that work; and with public authorities and courts entitled by law to request it, within the limits the law sets. Where a provider is located outside Türkiye, that transfer and its legal basis are stated here: [cross-border transfer: provider, country, legal basis].
How long it is kept
Enquiry records and attachments are kept for [retention period for enquiries], taking into account statutory limitation periods, whether or not the enquiry leads anywhere. Where an enquiry becomes a contract, the records are kept with that project file for [retention period for contracted work]. Anonymised visit statistics are kept for [retention period for statistics]. At the end of the period, data is deleted, destroyed or irreversibly anonymised.
Your rights
Under Turkish data protection law you may ask whether your data is processed and request information about it; learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly; learn the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom it has been transferred; have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected; request erasure or destruction once the grounds for processing no longer apply; ask that any correction or erasure be notified to those third parties; object to a result reached solely by automated analysis that works against you; and claim compensation for loss caused by unlawful processing.
How to exercise them
Send your request, with information identifying you, in writing and signed to the address above, by secure electronic signature or mobile signature, through [KEP address], or by e-mail to info@remtainsaat.com from the address already registered with us. Stating your request clearly speeds matters up. Requests are answered within the period the legislation sets and are free of charge as a rule, except in the cases where the legislation permits a fee. If you are not satisfied with the response, or receive none in time, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu).
Changes
This notice may be updated when the law or our processing changes. The current version is always published on this page.
